Backup Routine renders FrontView and Data on NAS inaccessible.
I have recentely purchased a replacement Chassis for a client, installed the HDs from the failed drive (yes, I checked to be sure they were compatible) and am now attempting to configure the 'disaster recovery' backup to an external HD connected to the front USB port. I have formatted the drive to NTFS and set permissions to Anonymous and set up a full back job. This is the second time, I have attemped to backup the data and each time the data on the NAS is inaccessible to the end user and I am unable to access Frontview via a web browser. The backup routine appears to "lock up" the device. Thoughts please and thank you!
