I have tried using the NAS webpage (FIREFOX) to auto update and also a manual update of downloaded firmware without success.The unit uploads the image and prompts a reboot to install yet it doesn't install on boot.

I do have exactly the same problem. ReadyNas 102 on 6.2.5 won't update to 6.4.0. I tried twice and it downlodas the package ok but nothing happens on the next reboot. Still on 6.2.5

Hello, first of all this is a good occasion to perform a backup of all your data before proceeding. Failed FW upgrades can lead to data loss so please do a backup now if you have not done so already. With failed FW upgrades it is also advisable to contact support as your case might be different from what I experienced and you may run into problems. In my case I had a checksum mismatch when trying to upgrade from 6.2.5 to 6.4.0. My problem was solved by downgrading to 6.2.4 first and the upgrading from 6.2.4 to 6.4.0. Bye, Eskender

    downgraded to 6.4.2 and that enabled me to update to 6.4 no probs!

I have 6.2.5 trying update to 6.4 or 6.4.1RC via admin page or usb fails

    When get admin page I see info about new 6.4.0. Click update, ist downloaded and instal. After this again see info about new 6.4.0 and I have old 6.2.5
    The same when I try update manual via page.
    The same when I try update via USB (boot menu)
    The same when I try update 6.4.1RC
    
    I try first 6.4.0
