Yosemite: no Frontview and CFIS mount
Hi,
I'm using a ReadyNAS Duo V1 with FW4.1.14
RAIDar showed everything is fine.
I'm not able to access Frontview with my mac devices like Macbook pro Yosemite safari and can't see CIFS mount in finder.
Can only managed to access Frontview using my android phone chrome browser.
Pls assist.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDo you have a backup?
Have you tried rebooting your NAS and your Macs? - LoyAspirantunfortunately, no.
This problem started after I performed backup of some files to an external USB drive.
I did perform a OS reinstall to try to recover. But its still the same.
RAIDar showed all green. Nothing wrong.
With LAN connection I managed to:
With Safari, my Frontview showed "null".
With Firefox, my Frontview loads but super slowly.
CIFS cannot load properly in Finder.
Rebooting both NAS and MAC doesn't help.
I've sent the logs for your reference. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYour logs indicate a possible problem with the RAM. Have you moved the NAS recently?
- LoyAspirantNope.
But I cannot rule out accidentally.
What do you suggest? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSounds like the RAM has failed. You will need to replace the RAM (not supported - be sure to run the memory test at least a few times before trusting it) or
purchase a new ReadyNAS e.g. RN312 and contact support. Wait for advice from support. Don't put the disks into the new NAS until prompted to by support. Note there may be a charge for this. - LoyAspirantI'm puzzled that I'm still able run my Logitech media server .
I tried to perform memory diagnostics tests by holding the power button for the fifth blink.
But it doesn't seem right.
disk 1 on. Disk 2 off.
then disk 1 off, disk 2 on.
then disk 1 and 2 on.
hang there .
What's the expected sequence of events? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredOnce booted into the memory test boot menu option, the patterns you should see are here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=26993
The test hanging confirms there is a memory problem. - LoyAspirantwhen I meant "hang" was that the NAS didn't reboot and the LEDS stayed there. No logs can be seen to know if the mem tests was carried out or status.
So what I observed was that the activity LED, Disk 1 and Disk 2 was on.
I interpreted as RAM test passed.

Your disk smart logs also indicate that there is a problem with your WD disk. - LoyAspirantThanks.
I tried to run the ram tests twice last nite.
On both occasions, results was the same.
3 leds was on steady. ACT, disk1, disk2.
Power led was blinking.
I'm puzzled by the logs and this Mem test Results.
