embedded web interface fails after week runtime
Have C3700-100NAS, currently running firmware V2.02.08 upgraded thru Comcast xFinity ISP.
Can normally connect to unit's embedded web interface both thru default IP 192.168.0.1 and URL http://routerlogin.net no problem...for about week after bootup.
After running seemingly normally for few days to week or so, can no longer connect to web interface neither thru either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz WiFi frequencies nor Ethernet cable -- LAN clients do still have good internet connection, so appears unit's cable modem WAN connection as well as router LAN connection are operating normally and only web interface has failed.
When web interface fails, only solution is to power-cycle unit, which seems to restore ability to connect to web interface (for about another week) then web interface fails again.
Any insight as to how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

Hello StarboardBow
Try using the cable interface ip which is 192.168.100.1 see if that will come up sometime from that page you can get to the routers WebUi.

No joy.
IP 192.168.100.1 has same result, failing to connect to web interface neither thru either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz WiFi frequencies nor Ethernet cable -- latest recurrence of web interface failing to connect appears to have happened some time within the past six hours.
Received response from Netgear Support (Netgear Support Case #28684210) stating the following:
"Our engineers seem to be able to find the cause of this issue. They will release a firmware to fix it. However, it is going to take a while before it will be released to Xfinity end users."

Also, received followup response to followup inquiry as to timeframe when firmware fix can be expected to be released stating the following:
"Thank you for responding. I cant really provide an ETA on when our engineers will release the new firmware. Once the provide it to your ISP, the ISP will run another test before they will push the firmware to the modem/routers."

Curious if the issue still remains for your router version as well (https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cable-Modems-Routers/AC1900-C7000-100NAS-Admin-web-server-stops-responding/td-p/1287611) and/or if you've received a firmware update to address since your post?
I can't seem to even get the courtesy of a response to my ticket to acknowlege after repeated follow ups, which is very frustrating. Surprised to see that you received a response at least.

Am still awaiting release of firmware update to fix issue found with current v.2.02.08.
Back in early July, Netgear Support indicated their engineers confirmed it would take 2-3 months for new firmware to be released -- do plan to follow up soon to get status.
Would suggest maybe referencing my open ticket number noted above in your ticket which might get some response.
Finally after months of followup, finally received response from Netgear Support (Netgear Support Case #28684210) stating the following:
"I would like to inform you that the engineering already provided the firmware with the fix to Comcast and will be roll out this coming October."

NETGEAR L2 Support ExpertAfter much back and forth between Netgear Support and Comcast Tier 3 tech support as to who, Netgear or Comcast, is responsible for pushing firmware update to end-users, received followup response from Netgear Support stating the following:
"We just received an update from Comcast general deployment will be within this week."

NETGEAR L2 Support ExpertTo test, this morning cold-booted my C3700, and during its POST appeared firmware update got downloaded. Now C3700 embedded web interface shows firmware version V2.02.16.
At least with Comcast xfinity ISP, you must power-cycle cable modem to force download of firmware update to end-user device.
Hopefully new firmware update will finally fix embedded web interface failure -- will update discussion with results after some period of uptime.
No joy.
After only running for less than 2 days, embedded web interface is still failing same as before -- appears firmware version V2.02.16 fix did NOT fix problem.
