NETGEAR makes a breakthrough in small business wifi

While these two intro's might not seem closely related, they are both part of a significant initiative on our part which we feel will make Wifi much more accessible for the small business owners.
A few weeks ago we announced the Orbi Pro WiFi system for small businesses. This product is huge contribution to the market because it is the first product designed to allow small business owners and single location proprietors to standup their own business network. NETGEAR has been making DIY home solutions for years, but until now, if someone with limited networking technical know-how wanted to put in a business wifi, they were going to have to find help somewhere.

Orbi Pro's made for business design provides you with 3 ports on the base station and 4 ports on the satelite to support your secure hardwired devices and the tetherless placement lets you put the satelite where you need the ports. Those who have deployed the home version of Orbi can attest to its ease-of-use, coverage and performance.

While Orbi Pro is a huge breakthrough for the do-it-yourselfer, Insight Manager and the products it supports, is a major advancement for the folks who have traditionally deployed and supported small business networks. For installers and more technically oriented networking folks, Insight devices provide a friendly user interface with cloud connected peace-of-mind.
The design center for Insight was to provide all of the flexibility and features of traditional standalone networks but without the deployment and support complexity. Insight devices are first and foremost, standalone traditional switches, access points and storage. That means they come out of the box and they work the way you would expect them to. But our above-and-beyond mission was to give the installers and people who support small business networks a way to configure, monitor and manage these networks in the palm of your hand.
