FVS318Gv2 VPN set up

Hello I am trying to get an easy VPN set up on my netgear fvs318gv2

I followed the instructions I found online which seemed simple.  Enable the L2TP server.  Set MSCHAPV2 authentication.

Create a user on the box.

I run through the VPN set up on the windows 7 or windows 10 computer but the VPN logs keep showing,

IKE ERROR COULD NOT FIND CONFIGURATION

Help please?

Welcome to our community!

As per checking that you wanted to setup an L2TP VPN connection. Please upgrade first the firmware of the firewall to its latest version before setting up the VPN and reset it to factory default.
