ProSafe FVS318G - How to disable autosensing / Auto-Uplink on WAN interface
Hello dear community,
can you please advise, is it possible to disable subjected feture on WAN interface on FVS318 VPN firewalls? The reason is, one of the remote sites gets the backup iridium link and it requires MDI-X (crossover cable). Unfortunatelly Auto-Uplink feature makes it imoossible to work with combination of FVS318G/Gv2 firewalls and devices are not seeing each other. Unfortunatelly we have no access to previous generation FVS318 device which was able to work in combination with Iridium data terminal.
Your help is really needed.
regards
Marcin

Re: ProSafe FVS318G - How to disable autosensing / Auto-Uplink on WAN interface
Hi Salata,
Welcome to the community! 🙂
I'm afraid to inform you that it seems there is no option to disable it. However, on the web-GUI of the FVS318G, when you go to Network Configuration > WAN Settings > Advanced then on Port Speed, you can manually select the port speed. By default, AutoSense is selected on the Port Speed. Kindly check page 2-13 of the FVS318G reference manual here.
