SRX5308 firewall port 53 DNS

I'm having trouble getting dns server to work through the firewall on the router.

I have rules for both DNS:TCP and DNS:UDP to ALLOW always. I can make a dig request on the local network without issue using the private address, however I cannot make a dig request using the public address.

I'm using firmware version 4.2.1-2.

Well that's embarassing.

The public IP address in the network documentation I've been given had two digits transposed from what they were supposed to be.
