GS724T not be able to set time
Hi,
I'm trying to set the time via the webinterface, Time, SNTP Global configuration.
First I tried to use the SNTP option, but because this didn't work, I tried the local option.
I encode the correct date and time and when I click apply, the date is set -2 days, and the time is set -13 hours and some minutes.
==> the amount of the days and time subtracted is the System Up Time of the switch (2 days 13 hours 14 mins)???
Model Name : GS724Tv3
Boot Version : B5.1.1.1
Software Version : 5.4.1.13

- evbGuideI did try to set the time again.
The switch is now running for 5 days 11 hours 50 mins 4 secs.
When I set the current date and time, the 5 days 11 hours 50 mins 4 secs is substracted from the current time ????? - jmizoguchiVirtuosoGS724T has many model version. (support.netgear.com)
If the products is NOT EOL then contact support via portal at my.netgear.com
EOL products will not get any fixes so if that the case you are out of luck :)
You an also Check EOL list here at netgear.com/eol - evbGuideOk, I opened a support ticket.
I will be back when they reply. - evbGuideSetting the local time will not work with this software version. The Netgear support people will raise this as a bug.
Setting the time with the SNTP option is working.
In my case it was only working with a real IP address of a SNTP server.
Choose IPV4 and encode the IP address, for example 87.124.126.49.
I didn't change the defaults for Port, Priority and Version
