GSM7248 packets with errors

We have a network with a GSM7248 as the main switch. According to "Switch Summary" there are "Packets received with errors" at about the same amount as the Broadcast packets received. I am not sure if it relates to the problem that periodically the entire network goes down for a few minutes at a time.

I forgot to point out that all of the individual ports do not report more than 60 errors at most, compared to 19 million packets received with errors.

Switch -> Port Statistics.... Are errors associated with any one port?

The errors do not show up in port statistics. The worse port has 75 errors out of 1.86 million packets.
