M4250 VLAN CONFIGURATION
I've setup four VLANs on this new switch and configured them for DHCP. Client devices are getting the appropriate IP addresses, based on the VLAN port they're connecting to. However, they're not able to see beyond their subnet, ping the router or access the internet.
If I plug into a port not configured with a VLAN traffic goes through without a problem.
I'd had this working on an older NETGEAR Prosafe switch, which used a slightly different interface. I think I'm just missing a step. Looking for an assist.
Thanks,
Randy53

Re: M4250 VLAN CONFIGURATION
Hi @randyp53,
When setting up your VLANs, and it's corresponding DHCP server, was the default gateway your switch? As when you setup your VLANs + DHCP, the gateway (in order to have intervlan communication) would need to be the switch.
Then, the switch knows where to further direct those packets to.
If the gateway is something different, it needs to be VLAN aware.
Additionally, if you want to route internet, you also need to have a router that is VLAN aware, or, have static routes configured on the router.
I'm happy to have a look at your TS file, if you want to send it to me.
