I want qbittorrent to work on readynas (I don't understand the lingo!)
I installed Qbittorrent from the app that came with the readynas 204. After it wouldn't start downloading, I messed with the port settings. Now when I try to login to it again, it says data not found in my browser.
How do I get it to work again? And how do I get the app to download torrents? I tried a search but I don't understand all the linux, nas etc. lingo around here! Where do I start?

Perhaps remove the app, then try the newer armel version from the qbittorrent folder in super-poussin's Dropbox: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Current-NETGEAR-and-Partners/Addons-available-For-R6/td-p/842756

I removed it and reinstalled it. Then when I click it now, it says 404 not found.

I also have a problem with plex now. It won't let me uninstall it. I get stuck when I try to. Currently, it's not working either because of a failed update firmare.

I just sent it.
I notice in the log it says user katrinafiles deleted every time I try to join readycloud. It gives me a registration error every time I try to link my readynas to readycloud.

Your NAS is not connected to the internet.
Can you verify that the DNS server addresses specified are accurate?
You might wish to add e.g. 8.8.8.8

Re: I want qbittorrent to work on readynas (I don't understand the lingo!)
I'm using my ISP's DNS. I've also tried google's DNS and it did not work. How do I check if I'm connected to the internet?

Run "check for updates" and see if it connects to the update server.
Are you using a static IP address in the NAS, or is it set to "using DHCP"?

It says I'm updated to the latest firmware. It is running on DHCP.

Looking again at your logs it appears that actually your email alerts are configured incorrectly so the logs are getting spammed.
If you are using Gmail you need to allow less secure apps and may need to set an application specific password.

Re: I want qbittorrent to work on readynas (I don't understand the lingo!)
I've allowed unsecure apps to google. Now I received some of the e-mails from readynas that blocked before. I still have the same problems
1) Can't remove plex/reinstall plex 2) Can't access qbittorrent app 3) Can't link my readynas to readycloud

I'm going to attempt to restore my router to factory default in case I have something blocking access to the readynas.

I just changed the password on my sign in ID and it worked! I just didn't use any numbers. After logging in worked, I changed the password with a more secure one.
Now, down to 2 problems left, Qbittorrent and Plex!

Re: I want qbittorrent to work on readynas (I don't understand the lingo!)
So I installed the update plex through the upload option for it and now it works. But I stil can't remove the other version of plex I have installed on it. Qbittorrent still doesn't work.

Did you specify using "HTTPS instead of HTTP"? Trying changing to https://<ipaddresstonas>:7097 or what ever port you specified.
