RSYNc not working reliably since upgrading to 6.10.7
I use an old Netgear ReadyNas 102 as a backup from a Synology NAS. I have been using RSYNC reliably up to when I upgraded to 6.10.07 on the ReadyNas.
Since the upgrade the backup fails. I have found that if if I toggle Shares/Network Access/Rsync the backup runs until the next time the ReadyNAS goes through a scheduled powered down/up
.
The upgrade was from 6.10.6. Nothing else has changed on my network.
Is this a know bug? Any suggestions?

Re: RSYNc not working reliably since upgrading to 6.10.7
I am not seeing this on my own backup NAS - which are also on a power schedule, and use rsync for backup. Backup jobs are run on the destination NAS (and the source NAS is not on a power schedule).
Are the backups being run on the Synology, or on the ReadyNAS?
One thing you could try is downgrading back to 6.10.6, and see if the problem resolves.

Re: RSYNc not working reliably since upgrading to 6.10.7
The backup is running on the Synology. All worked well until 6.10.7.
Ill wait to see if anybody has any suggestions before reverting back to 10.6
