deciding beteen replacing nv+ with Ultra6, ultra6+ or Pro6

Been researching options and reading all over and head is full...

Basically I have filled up my NV+ and want to replace it and then, once everything is transferred from the nv+ to the new NAS, I want to use the nv+ as an offsite backup of the replacement.

My home usage case is basically as follows:
- Central file backup (currently use SyncBack & Win7 sys images/backups);
- Media server for pictures, songs, and video;

I have been using the nv+ for backups for awhile now but never really got the media stuff working well (haven't spent much time on it but the DLNA seemed really buggy).

My most important consideration is that I would really like to get the media server working consistently after the upgrade to serve up home family videos and other video content (to two or three clients simultaneously at most)...

This is for home use and really only myself, my non-technical wife, & our kids that will be consumers. The media consumption devices we have available are a Samsung C5500 Bluray and a Win7 PC desktop and laptop.

Is there any compelling reason why I shouldn't go with an Ultra6 and instead should go with an ultra6+ or the Pro6? At this point I don't see on-device transcoding as an issue as I should be able to find a format that natively plays on the Samsung C5500 Bluray and convert all our home movies to that and I have no intention of running active directory or anything like that at home.

an ultra 6 should be plenty for what you want to do, but you may want to compare prices between all the models just to check if any are on sale or whatnot.
