Re: Can't download the Genie app to my Windows 10 computer.
@schumaku- thanks for the reply and understanding the issue.
As I mentioned before, other users have had this same issue trying to download the Genie for PC. On page 11 of that previous thread I referenced, poster "Datagg" mentions the issue here:
Poster "Datagg" states he later found a different download from a different website where he was finally able to install it. Unfortunately, I've searched for other download links for Genie from different websites, but their links all point to the same updates1.netgear.com path, so I'm still unable to grab a copy.

The link above ...http://updates1.netgear.com/netgeargenie/update/NETGEARGenie-install.exe?cid=wmt_netgear_organic ... would be correct.
So would:
http://updates1.netgear.com/netgeargenie/update/NETGEARGenie-install.exe
I know it isn't organic, but live dangerously.

As expected - different IP address. Netgear IT has to check thier Akamai distribution processing. File not there on all distribution points can lead to 404.
Thanks again for your knowledge and responses.
As first suspected, it sounds like I'll have to hope that perhaps a Netgear mod here can try and act as an intermediary with Netgear IT on this issue.
