New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR450)

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience, we’ve got a new firmware for you to test.

Highlights of this update:

  • Big improvements to IPv6 compatibility
  • Improvements to general stability
  • System-wide GUI improvements
  • Updates to game and device detection
  • Fixed DHCP renewal causing internet to drop

I would highly recommend you do a factory reset after upgrading for the freshest installation.

How have you come across this? What differences are you seeing that suggests IPv6 is causing an issue with QoS?

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR450)

I was testing ping with cmd and it shoots up to like 300 while under load with ipv6 on with it off it still shoots up but not as bad like 80 some

How did you perform the factory reset, through the interface or via the pin on the back of the router?

Could you try factory resetting from routerlogin.net/adv_index.htm please as I'm not sure the other methods are resetting correctly, then try please.

Did you do a factory reset after upgrading? If not I would highly suggest doing so as it prevents issues carrying over

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR450)

It won't always happen but depending on what gets changed between the versions, old level code from a previous version can cause issues. Re-upgrade then factory reset and see if you get the same issue please.

Okay thank you both, this is something we'll really need to try and reproduce ourselves, will get back to you if I get a good workaround.

Where did you see that they remained the same? Did you not set this when going through the initial setup?
