AC6700v3 Intermittent Loss of Internet

Hello,

I am currently using the Blackhawk AC6700v3 router in conjunction with an Xfinity Gigabit modem in bridge mode. I am experiencing routine loss of WiFi internet and constantly having to reset router and modem which restores connection. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening so often?

A couple things. 

1. its nighthawk R6700v3

2. what firmware is on the router? 

3. what actual gateway is it? 

4. have you tried leaving the xfnity gateway in router mode, disable its wifi, and then put the netgear in access point mode? maybe the xinity device's passthrough/bridge mode isn't functioning properly

I put the model as what is shown on my app.  Anyways...

 

The firmware is V1.04.106_10.0.80

 

Do you mean the Gateway IP? Otherwise, I am unsure what you are asking.

 

It's entirely possible that the bridge mode is not working correctly, but I have checked the internet on both devices when the WiFi goes out only the Nighthawk is not responding.
