Avast Securty 14.9 is giving a vulnerability warning
Firmware on my R7000 is V1.0.9.88_10.2.88. When I try to upgrade, it says that I am current.
No real details from Avast on the vulnerabilty. Here is a screen capture.

Not much I can do with that.
I can't (yet) see your picture. In-line images must be approved
by a moderator before others can see them. The time required varies.
Attachments have no such limitation. Of course, attachments have their
own one-per-message limitation. In the mean time, copy+paste is your
friend.

You're 5 firmware updates behind the most current one:

Auto router update doesn't work on this router, well it has never worked on mine AC1900 model, so just disable it.
As for firmware updates, I recommend you do a manual check at least once a month because that's the only way you'll find out if you're on the most up to date firmware.

The vague message you received is hardly an indication that Avast knows what it is talking about.
These things happen from time time to time:

Security software is great at throwing up scary messages. They are often down to errors in its own software.
