Hi, I am having a problem trying to log in into my router via my laptop with windows 10. I can log in with my iPad or iPhone using the IP address but when I want to log in with my laptop thru my wifi I can't. Do you know if I need to change something on windows10?

I think I found the problem. I unistalled Kaspersky and I was able to log in. I am reinstalling it right now, let see if that fix the problem.

Hi TitaCorrales,
Are you getting any error message when trying to access the UI?

What happens when you try?
Can the laptop see the wifi?

Yes. I receive a message that is the proxy or firewall.
A message in Windows?
That can be very picky when is comes to network settings.

I am confused. I thought you were asking about logging into your wifi on a Windows 10 laptop.
The browser does not come into this. That's not how you connect to the wifi in Windows 10.
Where is this error message about the proxy or firewall?
Have you ever got this laptop to join a wifi network?

Re: Can't log in my router with laptop
Yes, it's in the network and I can surf and connect with the other computers. The problem is when I try to log in to the router settings. I was able to do it before but now I can't. I do not know if somebody mess with the settings on my laptop.

So, you can connect to the wifi and you can connect to the Internet.
You cannot connect to the router's control interface?
That's a common complaint. For example:

Re: Can't log in my router with laptop
Then try with wired connection. If it works. Try ping the router via wireless. Not working on wireless? The do ipconfig /all to see what's going on. Any AV program on your laptop running?

I tried wired connection and is the same
this is the message that appears:

The connection was reset.
Try:

Re: Can't log in my router with laptop
After all this time you would have thought that Netgear and Kaspersky would have talked to one an other and worked out what is going on here.
Sadly, this keeps coming up with no sign of a fix on either side.

Hi TitaCorrales,
If you have Kaspersky Antivirus, you may try the KB below.

Hi cmor,
Can you access it via the IP address(ex. 192.168.1.1)?
Use a different web browser to access it.
