Hey NETGEAR people, I need help thinking about this issue.
NightHawk r7000 | ac1900 firmware 1.0.11.134 (https://www.netgear.com/support/product/r7000.aspx) just dropped me as I was about to take a proctored test.
ISP said they showed no outage.
Log:
[Internet connected] IP address: **<ISP>**, Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:53:00
[Internet disconnected] Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:52:58
[Internet connected] IP address: 192.168.100.20, Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:52:40
[Admin login] from source **THIS IS ME**, Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:52:17
[Admin login failure] from source **THIS IS ME**, Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:52:08
[Internet connected] IP address: 192.168.100.20, Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:52:03
[DHCP IP: (**THIS IS ME**)] to MAC address **THIS IS ME**, Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:51:44
[Internet disconnected] Tuesday, May 03,2022 13:51:19
The 192.168.100.20 is not my current lan subnet, or--obviously--the WAN interface.
After the internet came back, my phone alerted me that certificates from www.routerlogin.net were not to be trusted. Listing NETGEAR as the org, support@netgear.com as the email address and all the rest of NETGEAR's public information.
This is the first time I've needed to dig further into the router's logs, can someone maybe suggest an approach I should be researching? I'm lost.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
"[Internet connected] IP address: 192.168.100.20,"
Looks like the ISP modem has a built in router already. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

Re: [Internet Connected] in log killed my internet connection
The reply is very much appreciated thank you. I've been digging around all day and everything keeps pointing me back to the ISP modem. You've given me some other stuff to look up now, thank you.
