Netgear Nighthawk R7000 (AC1900) vs R8000 (AC3200)
I am planning to buy an AC router. In terms of reviews, my research shows that R7000 is the one i should buy. But when i look at specs of R8000 it easily beats R7000 (but has less favourable reviews). I am kinda torn between these two. Can anybody give me their insights/experience? Thanks.

Re: Netgear Nighthawk R7000 (AC1900) vs R8000 (AC3200)
If you read the reviews on the forums, you'll see plenty of issues with the r7000 in terms of firmware. It was also first released in 2013. Its still a solid performing router but its getting a bit on in age.
The R8000 is a bit newer and triband. It won't hit the same peak speed over 5ghz as the r7000 will but because of the 2nd 5ghz band, you can spread devices out more and have less congestions.
If I was going to recommend a dual band AC router, it'd probably be the r7800 or XR500 that I'd recommend on here.
