Hello,
I am trying to setup my Canon MP210 as a wireless printer. I connect the USB-A to USB-B into the Router USB port, sometimes it shows as a connected device. But I cannot see it in the NetGear USB Control Center. I've used the printer directly from my computer,
I have Access Control turned off, recently I've factory reset the router without luck. Im on a windows 10 laptop and also tried through the genie app in my android phone no luck.
Any advise?
Regards,
Victor Gonzalez

Page 50 of the manual goes over installing a usb printing device. have you walked through all the steps?
you can find the manual here:
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/C7000
there's even a usb printer guide here:

Re: Nighthawk C7000 USB to Canon MP210 doesnt work
Hello Plemans,
Thank you for your reply and help. I've already done those steps. Even disabled the firewall on the router and allowed the NETGEAR USB Control Center through my laptop's firewall and no result.
Now I dont see the printer on the router.
This is so weird.

Re: Nighthawk C7000 USB to Canon MP210 doesnt work
have you tried running the usb control center as an administrator?
If you log into the router through the browser, does it show the printer connected?

Re: Nighthawk C7000 USB to Canon MP210 doesnt work
that isn't necissarily the printer. Its just the routers readyshare sever.
there used to be a list of incompatible printers but it hasn't been updated since before your printer was released.

Re: Nighthawk C7000 USB to Canon MP210 doesnt work
Thank you Plemans for your insights.
I believe the solution will be to use a print server device to make the printer accessible on the network.
