Nighthawk R6900 Internet Access Only Wired

Hello folks, I have had a R6900 for a few months now and have had no issues but on the past couple days I have been having a strange problem, I can connect to the wireless networks and have strong signal but I have no internet access on them.

At the same time if I use the wired network I have full internet connectivity.

 

Have you faced this before? Do you have a solution?

R6900

Firmware VersionV1.0.0.4_1.0.10
 
GUI Language VersionV1.0.0.4_2.1.38.1

Got it figured out. The comcast modem/router that I had set in bridge mode was going crazy and would turn its wifi on, every time that happened the Nighthawk wifi would lose internet, I do not know why.

 

The solution:

1- Turn everything off

2- Reset comcast modem/router to factory

3- Reset comcast modem/router to bridge

4- Turn Nighthawk back on

 

All working.

When the wifi turned on it had to be reset for some reason....wifi only works when it's in router mode. You might call comcast and tell them. Do you have X1? Someone may be resetting it from the X1 customer help app on a tv.
