Hi all,
After a long trouble free run, my R6700v2 is not recognizing / showing wired devices.
One of two things happen when I load the Attached Devices screen - or check the Nighthawk app -
- A subset (often just one device) appears intermittently before disappearing completely
- The list is empty
Previous behavior was all wired were devices listed correctly.
No changes to firmware, configuration, or new devices installed.
Network looks like this
Internet comes in via CM500 cable modem, connects to the R6700v2 router, which connects to a GS324P switch.
Router Firmware Version: V1.2.0.92_1.0.1
Power cycling the switch and router has had no effect.
Any thoughts?
Would any further details be helpful?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The mystery deepens.
The problem fixed itself!‽‽‽
All I did was turn on a few of the devices that go through the switch:
- laptop w/wi-fi turned off
- AVR with an ethernet connection
- Chromecast w/wi-fi turned off and ethernet adapter plugged-in
... and all of the wired devices, including a PoE WAP and other devices that were not power-cycled all came back online and now appear consistently on the Attached Devices screen.
Glad it's fixed; annoyed that I don't know what caused it or what precisely resolved the issue.
