- Dec 12, 2017That shouldn't be necessary unless you happened to have changed your router's MAC address. Apart from that, your ISP should put something in their system that ensures that you get a public IP.

I'm not sure how to find that out, this is what I'm seeing under WAN Setup.

You need to look under Internet setup. Or you can look on the Advanced tab. The IP Address listed under the Internet Port panel is the WAN IP address.

The IP adress shown under Internet Port is 100.126.152.49.
- TheEtherDec 12, 2017GuruUnfortunately, that's not a public IP address. This type of IP address usually indicates that your ISP is performing CGNAT. Port forwarding is simply not going to work. Call your ISP and see if they rent public IP addresses. You will need one.
The other option is to connect to a VPN provider. This will get you past your ISP's CGNAT layer.- DraconyDec 12, 2017Aspirant
My ISP does offer free public IP adresses, but I thought I already had that. As I've been able to port forward properly before, it only recently stopped working.
