There are two model variants - R7500 and R7500v2. According to older posts, only later one does support MU-MIMO https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7500-MU-MIMO-Capability/td-p/998027

Re: R7500 Beamforming and MU-MIMO
ok thank you, i look into the setting and saw the options for them and i looked up my order on Amazon and the title said that it has Beamforming+ https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00N2PPFDM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
so i thought that it had support for it but i assume they must have updated the title after r7500v2 came out

Re: R7500 Beamforming and MU-MIMO
Now I'm a little bit confused. In another thread, a community member has posted the UI screenshot - which does include both Beamforming and MU-MIMO controls - https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7500-v1-does-it-support-mu-mimo/td-p/150628... unclear if this is a v1 or a v2 variant:
And the R7500 is listed as applicable in the Beamforming FAQs, too.

Can't yee your screenshot yet (mandatory moderation if I have it right) - but I assume this is the same https://kb.netgear.com/000054465/R7500-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-122 which is in use on the other community member R7500.

Re: R7500 Beamforming and MU-MIMO
Pushed this to the desk of the Netgear manager in charge already. Really disappointing what is going on with many Nighthawk router products.

Re: R7500 Beamforming and MU-MIMO
Hi All,
R7500v1 does not support MU-MIMO. Enabling the option will not make any changes on the performance. This will be removed on the next FW release.
