R7900P with Circle Compatibility Planned Development/Timeline?

Is there a development plan to add software/firmware updates for the R7900P to support Disney Circle capability? We bought our router assuming it was compatible because the R7900 was listed as compatible.
We may have to return if there is not future plans to update the R7900P with this capability via future firmware/software updates. Our last vanilla (run of the mill) router was capable of supporting an external Disney Circle device, and we need to be able to control content our little ones see online. Any light shed on this topic (preferably from a developer) would be very appreciated, thank you!
Respectfully,
Rob J.

Which means with the way Netgear firmware is going, just forget about it and move on. Nothing to see here. I gave up on Netgear after a r8000 and r8000p. Sold now.

Thanks for the update Darren. We plan to purchase and install an R8000 Night Hawk Device. I'm seeing that as circle compatible on the Circle compatibility listing website.
