Hi All,
Recently in the last few weeks I upgraded to firmware V1.0.5.38 and I for some reason my devices connected via a wired connection drop out after a short amount of time and I need to reboot the router to get the connectivity back. all the link lights are showing activity but there seems to be an issue and I am not sure what it is.
I have downgraded back to V1.0.5.36 but I am still having the same issue.
My PC states the connection is established but to an unidentified network. Once I restart it has connectivity to the internet via this wired connection instead of the wireless connection. When the wired connection drops out it goes back to the wireless connection.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Wireless connectivity is never affected.
Thanks,
Luke

So issue was I had a device connected that was doing some kind of broadcast somehow and took down all wired devices!
Previously this device was in a connected state and configured, I recently done a factory reset on it and it was attached and not configured.
Anyhoo all good now! Thanks for the support all.

Re: R9000 No Ethernet Connectivity
whenever you have issues after a firmware change, the first step is usually a factory reset. Sometimes old/bad settings can cause issues.
Have you tried this?

This is a Windows PC?
Try running the Network Troubleshooter in Windows.

What is the modem/gateway (make/model) in front of your router?

Ouch. Nice work, Sherlock.
