Re: SMB on R9000
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is this error that your seeing?
What USB drive do you have connected?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: SMB on R9000
The current firmwire is V1.0.5.40
i don't know the model of the internet Service Providers modem.
The error i see when playing videos on Plex is "playback error" "an unexpected playback error problem occurred" or when i play with vlc the video just stop.
The usb drive i have connected is Seagate Expansion Portable Drive.
I have tried to reset the router without success.

Re: SMB on R9000
Does this happen with a different USB drive, say a small USB flash drive?
What is the size of the Seagate drive?
Does it have it's own power supply?

Re: SMB on R9000
I have tested with a small usb and the picture got choppy sometimes.
My Seagate drive is 4 TB with own power supply via USB.
