The NightHawk R8000 router packaging fooled me - Unsatisfied since day 1
Just wanted to vent. I work from home, have ~15 devices connected to the internet at anytime + Internet TV box running most of the time in the background. I orginially bought the R8000 router after upgrading to Spectrum Gig internet. The packaging and price of this router are A+. Everything else (performance, relaiblity, looks, usability, etc..) - it's so bad I wish I could sue old myself for making such a stupid decision and not doing the research first on how this router performs in the real world for power users like me. Never budged over 400 Mbps no matter how many power cycles, resets, different computers, calls to Spectrum. The customer service barely knew anything more than download and upload speeds. I some how explained to him how the router's different bands are supoosed to work,
this is face of the CEO when he must've found out another sucker spent over $300 on this router. This is mine

Are you talking wired speeds or wireless speeds?
How are you testing?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
What firmware version are you testing on?
what devices are you testing on?
what website are you testing the speeds on?
