First of all Netgear phone support is horrible. 3hrs on hold and hung up on 3 times while trying to be transfered to a "expert who has been trained on this new product" is absolutely unacceptable.
Tried a chat, and the agent says vlans are not supported in ap mode. SXK80 in ap mode with vlan profile turned on won't pass a ip adderss.
This make no sense that such a highlighted "feature" is disabled when trying to add the product to a existing network. I would like a final confirmation that ap mode is no better than much cheaper solutions before returning.

Hi,
In AP mode
1. you need to make sure your router has currect VLAN setting for LAN.
2. Make sure the uplinking port in AP is in trunk mode and use default profile.
3. Assign VLAN profile with VID that created in gateway to each wireless SSID

VLAN is supported in AP and Router mode. Do you have setup problems?

Re: Orbi pro wifi 6 (SXK80) can't do separate vlans in ap mode?
Yes, the issue im having is when i turn on the vlan profile for each ssid and i connect i get a 169.x.x ip. Turning off the vlan profile for a given wireless connection and connecting works correctly.
