I am getting a timeout trying to mount to another Netgear NAS. The problems started when I updated to 6.4.0.
I have tried the BETA 6.4.1-T35 (Beta 3) which seemed to solve the problem initially but now will not mount.
Can anyone help?

My advice is to stay on 6.2.5 unless you enjoy spending hours finding out why simple stuff that used to work no longer does.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.0 Mount Problems
We do have a newer beta now.
Which protocol are you using (e.g. SMB)?
Which model NAS is this?
Are there any other issues you are facing?
Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.0 Mount Problems
Thanks. There are a number of suggested BETA links which is the latest?
Model is 104.
Protocol NFS.
General instability. As soon as I try to move or copy files it hangs.
If I can get it to stay up long enough I will send the logs.

You want this one: https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/ReadyNASOS-6-4-1-RC1/m-p/999457#U999457
The current beta stays at the top, and is almost always posted by skywalker.
He edits that post for beta-2, ..., RC1 as they become available - which makes the current one easier to find.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.0 Mount Problems
This seems to have fixed the mount problem but I am unable to restart without pulling the plug and readynasd is currently running at 95%+.

What is taking the CPU?
How long have you waited for the process to finish?

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.0 Mount Problems
I have waited over an hour from issuing the restart.

Try waiting longer - perhaps 24 hours.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.0 Mount Problems
I am still having problems as I am not able to connect via frontview but I can get a ssh session.
I am on 6.4.1-RC1 and I would like to try the lastest firmware which I think is 6.4.1-RC3?
Can I install this via ssh and if so how?
Thanks again.

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.4.0 Mount Problems
I am now getting the same errors described here as I cannot connect to Frontview, only via SSH:
The solution was a firmware update but I am already running 6.4.1-RC3. Can anyone help?
