ReadyCloud App on IOS keeps backing up the same photos over and over
I just got my ReadyNAS 104 set up this weekend and installed the readycloud app on my iphone. It downloaded all the pictures as it should have when I enabled media backup in the app. This morning, it started all over and is now creating duplicate copies of the photos on the NAS unit. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi brittmd99,
Welcome to the community!
Can you confirm the ReadyCLOUD iOS app version installed in your smartphone?
I'll look forward to your response.
Kind regards,

Pwcummings which version of iOS are you running on your wife's phone? What about the devices which are working fine?
Did this problem only start after an iOS update?

Re: ReadyCloud App on IOS keeps backing up the same photos over and over
I was asking about the version of iOS (the operating system on the phone) not the ReadyCLOUD app version.

Re: ReadyCloud App on IOS keeps backing up the same photos over and over
Hi brittmd99,
Did you uninstall the app on your mobile phone and run the media backup feature again? When the initial media backup is completed, the media backup feature won't run anymore unless a new file or photo has been added in your gallery (a notification with the number of files will show up on the media backup button).
iPad Mini iOS 9
ReadyCLOUD 1.5.3
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards,

Re: ReadyCloud App on IOS keeps backing up the same photos over and over
Please keep a look out for the next version of the app. I am informed that this is already fixed internally and is included in the next release we will submit to the App Store.

Re: ReadyCloud App on IOS keeps backing up the same photos over and over
App updates on the Apple iOS App Store are subject to review by Apple. If an app update needs to be submitted multiple times due to changes required by Apple then things will take longer than expected.
I will check but generally we cannot provide ETAs as we release when it is ready.
Edit: we are hoping sometime early-mid next month.
