ich habe einen USB Wechsel Adapter für USB Disks: Sharkoon SATA QuickPort XT USB3.0 V.2, Dockingstation,
Dieser hat eine Zeit lang am NAS perfekt funktioniert, bis ich wohl mal eine Platte (vermute ich) nicht richtig ausgehängt habe.
Nun habe ich schon einiges probiert, aber er findet meine Platten einfach nicht mehr (im Frontview). Es ist egal welche Festplatte ich benutze. Die Dockingstation funktioniert unter Windows einwandfrei. Ich habe sie in Windows richtig ausgehängt.
Festplatte: 3TB Toshiba EXT4 GPT - Formartiert unter Windows mitMini Tool Partition Wizard in der Dockingstation.
Es lag an der Formatierung der Festplatte. Ich benutzte Mini Tool Partition Wizard Free 9.0 und 9.1 auf einem Windows 7 System.
Die Formatierung mit GPT und EXT4 funktioniert anscheinend nicht. Als ich die Platte in NTFS formatiert hatte erkannte das Readynas die Platte wieder. Anschließend mit dem Bordeigenem Formatierungstool in EXT4 formatiert und nun geht es....

The Formatting with Mini Tool Partition Wizard Free 9.0 and 9.1 on a Windows 7 System doesn't works. I think the Problem is the GPT Table and EXT4. If i format the Disks in NTFS the Readynas detect the Drive. Then i reformated it with Frontview in EXT4 and everything its fine.
Did you check the logs (under System->Logs) if it logged an entry whether your drive was somehow detected? Try to connect this external USB drive in your PC and run Windows disk error checking tool. Once finished, connect it back to your ReadyNAS and try all its USB ports.
