The NAS doesn't support exfat. You can use fat32, ext, btrfs, or ntfs.

now it does (and mounts the drive:-D) -> see the pic
Open your terminal and install the exfat-fuse and exfat-utils packages using the following commands:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install exfat-fuse exfat-utils
