ReadyCloud Media backup alternative

This is a question for those using the ReadyCloud Media backup feature on their mobile devices. Have you found a good alternative?

What do you want to do? Backup a phone (Android/iOS)? Backup where? Local or Cloud?

Do you have any other backup utility installed?

Acronis, available with the usual Black Monday discounts, has an Android app.

Re: ReadyCloud Media backup alternative

I am looking for a similar solution, i.e., backup media from Android/IOS to my local NAS 204.

What do you currently use as a backup tool?

Acronis would do what you want. But it would overkill, for just that purpose.

SyncBack Touch is free for users of SyncBack.

Re: ReadyCloud Media backup alternative

I used ReadyCloud to back on Readynas 204 and Google Photos backup. Now, I am only doing backup on Google Photos. Both Acronis and SyncBack seem like overkill since both require a Windows machine. I would love a direct backup solution from IOS/Android to RN204.

This section is all about routers. Your RN204 is a network attached storage (NAS) device from a range the Netgear abandoned some years ago.But there are people here who understand these things. They hang out in this section:

ReadyNAS Network Storage: Official NETGEAR Community

NAS is designed for local network storage. Doubtless there are things out there in iOS/SAndroid world that let you talk to an NAS from the outside world. But that isn't what @angus2  talked about.
