Re: Problems moving from GS108 to GS116v2
does it resolve if its removed?
The gs116v2 is a simple unmanaged port. It shouldn't impact traffic at all as its not doing any inspection/changes.

Re: Problems moving from GS108 to GS116v2
Hello @hochan
GS116v2 is a very old switch device. It's possible that it's already broken. You may want to try capturing packets whith a computer directly connected to GS116v2 whe placed again in your network. Provide any results of the capture. You may use a very famous packet capture tool "Wireshark".
Have a lovely day,

@ErwinL admitted, the GS116v2 is available (and still is in many markets from the shelves and online). Interestingly, there is another thread involving the same switch model, by a customer operating multiple Linn stremers, under the subject Streamer app not recognising streamers on wired network using GS116v2 but does when using GS108v4 - hard to imagine a simple unamanaged switch should caue such issues, especially because there is no advnced ICMP Multicast involved. Would be nice if you find some time to investigate please.

Re: Problems moving from GS108 to GS116v2
Hello @hochan
It strongly suggest to get a packet capture to see the traffic of your network. Let us just eliminate for the meantime possible reasons why you are getting such issue.
Thanks in advance!
Have lovely day,
