Access denied
Hi, I would like to save Documents on my NAS, by using "save as" or "save", directly from Windows. Even though I am the only user and the only administrator (on my laptop and on my network), I don't have any access for to save. Look at this (in german, sorry):
I'm trying to change the access rights:
But every time the same message... Who can help me?

Re: Access denied
Have you accessed the share before trying to log in?
The issue might be Connected to how Windows uses its credentials manager. Windows is hell-bent on using your currently logged on credentials, so if your username is the same, but the password isn't it might cause an issue.
What I've done to circumvent this issue is to create a user on the NAS and the local computer With the same username and password. This might help.

Re: Access denied
You can also create an entry in the credentials manager which tells Windows what user/pass to use when connecting to the NAS. IF you access the NAS both by IP address and name, you'd need two entries (one for each case).
