Accessing Data Directory on OS6
So Prior to OS6 one was able to access the C directory in root with the admin account.
I see that in OS6 there is no "C" but a "Data" and cannot be accessed from windows.
How would one edit the permissions of the folder so that it could be accessed from windows?

Re: Accessing Data Directory on OS6
OK easy enough just added the below to /etc/frontview/samba/Shares.conf
[Data]
path = /data
comment = "Data"
guest ok = 0
force create mode = 0666
create mask = 0666
force directory mode = 0777
directory mask = 0777
admin users = "admin","Administrator"
writeable = 1
follow symlinks = 1
wide links = 1

Re: Accessing Data Directory on OS6
Hmmm ok I didn't think about permissions, anyone with an account on the NAS can now access /Data...
How would I change the permissions so that only admin can access the share via samba?
