Community App compatibility with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0

Sorry, I must have missed in the section of v6.6.0 Release Notes where there were some App Store Applications that were being depricated.  Why wasn't any of this mentioned in the Release Notes?

Unacceptable!

Re: Community App compatibility with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0

6.6.0 includes a major update to the core OS from Debian 7 to Debian 8. This is a major update and as would be the case with a major update to the core OS on your smartphone, tablet or PC, a number of apps need updates to address compatibility issues. It's up to community developers to prepare updates for their apps and submit them should they wish to.

It sounds like some of the apps on your system are known to be incompatible with 6.6.0. As StephenB mentioned links to the threads listing these are provided in the 6.6.0 Release Notes. It would have been best to uninstall these apps before updating to 6.6.0.

Which apps did you have installed?

Do you have SSH enabled and if so have you installed/updated anything using that? If so, what?

Depending on how messed up the system is it could be best if you backed up your data, did a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) and restored your data from backup. This would give you a clean install of 6.6.0
