ERROR: Logitech Media Server 7.7.0-i386-readynas installatio

Don't believe it !

Attempt to install the newly named version of Logitech Media Server on my ReadyNAS Pro and get the above error.

The server appears to start okay but [myreadynasproip]:9000 will not start the administrator - has anyone else got this problem ?

Attempting to install 7.6.2 did not work either and I don't have a bin of 7.6.1 so am totally stuck and very cheesed off !

I am seeing the exact same issue.

You could try the 7.6.1 release there if you like, I guess.

I disabled iTunes Streaming Server, then Squeezebox started working for me. I'm not sure if disabling iTunes did it, or if I just had to wait 20 minutes for the Squeezebox Server to scan my music files. They both appear to be working after I re-enabled iTunes.

It's a known error that doesn't affect the installation and is even mentioned in the release notes:
