Re: Expected duration for an X6 migration to 4 x 1 TB drives

Hi All

I think I have started the offline expansion of 4 x 500 GB drives to 4 x 1 TB drives but I'm looking for a little feedback.

Over the past 4 days I swapped out each 500GB drive with a 1 TB replacement. Each re-sync took about 8 hours. This morning I didn't see any message in FrontView but I rebooted the X6. It's been offline ever since. In RAIDar I see the X6 and its status is Blue with "File System Check, 100%" shown under information.

I can ping the X6 but that's all I have for now. Also, I'm running RAIDiator 4.1.7.

I assume I simply sit tight and ride it out?

I would give it a minimum of 8 to 10 hours.

It was probably closer to 20 hours. All is up and working!
