My ReadyNAS NV died

Hi Everyone,

I have a ReadyNAS NV (RNV1-S2-R450) that just died. Nothing happens when I push the power button. Prior to that, the fan was making some noise, occasionally.

Can anyone recommend the best course of action for getting my data off of this system and onto a new system? Can I buy a new ReadyNAS and just put in my existing disks? Should I get a new power supply? Should I buy an old-but-working RNV1-S2-R450 and put in my existing disks? Should I call a professional?

I had it updated to the latest and greatest firmware, pretty regularly (not sure if that information helps).

Thanks,

-Jim

Re: My ReadyNAS NV died

What is your system serial number?

It may be in range for PSU RMA even out of warranty.
