Problem after moving disks to new nas (104 -> 314)
Hi.
I got a 104 with 3 disks installed.
Moved them over to my new 314 yesterday, and it automatically installed the OS for 314 and everything seemed fine.
Now my problem is that the addons is not working correctly. I can't update them, and i can't remove them. It just says "failed to install" or "failed to remove", nothing more.
What can be wrong? My assumption is that the addons installed still is for the 104 arm cpu and therefore does not work. But how do i remove them to get the right versions installed?

Do you have SSH access?

Mdgm
I wonder whether arovik could put the disks back into the 104, delete the apps, then reinsert the disks into the 314?
All removals and inserts with power off of course.

If you want to try that I would suggest ensuring your backup is up to date first.

I don't have the 104 any more. I could enable ssh access, but what should i do after that?

You could see if you could remove the add-ons using dpkg.

I'll try that later. Or maybe i will do a factory reset. Is it possible to copy content directly from a external usb disk onto the NAS?

Re: Problem after moving disks to new nas (104 -> 314)
I ended up doing a factory reset to ensure everything is optimalized for the 314.
Will it be faster to copy data directly from a USB-disk or via a gigabit ethernet link?

Generally gigabit ethernet is faster.
