RN212 not boot
Hello everybody! I updated the firmware and after reboot it does not boot. When turned on, the power light and the DIsk1, Disk2, Backup lights are on alternately. When trying to change the boot menu, the NAS does not respond to buttons. When trying to boot from a bootable USB, the NAS stood for 24 hours, but continued to read from the USB stick. Is it possible to do something with the NAS? Thank you.

Re: RN212 not boot
The update could be the problem, but more often it's just the reboot it requires that's the cause.
What status does RAIDar report, if any? What status does it report if you remove the drives (marking them so you can return them to their proper location later)?

Re: RN212 not boot
Now without disks, RAIDar finds the device and its status is Healthy! Previously, I turned off the device many times and RAIDar did not find it!! Very strange. Tomorrow I'll try to turn it on with disks!

Re: RN212 not boot
I have to ask for help again. I decided to replace the disk and again I can't figure out what to do with the device. When you turn on without disks, the power and Disk1/Disk2/Backup lights flash alternately. The device is not located in RAIDar. I tried to start the OS installation mode again, nothing works!

Does it boot normally with the old disk(s) installed? If it does, does RAIDar see the NAS?
You cannot do a factory default or an OS reinstall w/o disks, as both processes are writing to the disks.

Re: RN212 not boot
Unfortunately, the old disk has failed, there is no way to check it.
Yes, I just want to install the OS on a new disk. How to do it? https://kb.netgear.com/22892/How-do-I-access-the-boot-menu-on-my-ReadyNAS-102-202-212-or-312 according to this instruction, it does not work

Those are the correct instructions (doing the factory default, not the OS reinstall). If those don't work, then it's possible that the NAS failed, not the old disk. FWIW, if you have a PC you should be able to check the disk, though you likely would need to get a USB adapter/dock.
If the new disk is blank (unformatted), then all you really need to do is power up the NAS with disk inserted. That will normally start a factory install.
I suggest using RAIDar to look at the status of your NAS: https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads#raidar
