Re: ReadyNAS 2100 will not boot
I was going to suggest USB Boot Recovery next.
The 2100 has a backup button on it so you probably have to press that to do USB Boot Recovery. Our current rackmount models don't have a backup button.
- Press and hold backup button
- Press power button briefly to turn NAS on
- Continue holding backup button.
It could be longer than 15 seconds that you need to press the backup button in. There's no harm in holding it longer than necessary. If you don't hold it in long enough it won't do the USB Boot Recovery.
Within a couple of minutes or so the unit should have powered off.
