I have the NAS set a static IP already.
Do you know if there is any particular reason it why it wouldn't work as NETGEAR advertised in via the video on YouTube or in the manual?

It did work when I tested it, but that was some time ago. Were you unable to reach the NAS (for instance ping, or \\nasipaddress in file explorer)? Or did you just have a discovery issue (e.g., the NAS didn't show up in network - but perhaps was still reachable).

Often people don't really understand what NIC bonding can (and can't) do. NIC bonding is helpful if you often have multiple users accessing the NAS.
But if only a single user is accessing the NAS, you will NEVER see gains unless you are also using NIC bonding on the PC (and usually you won't see gains even if you are doing that).
