ReadyNas Duo - Incorrect amount of free space
I have ReadyNas Duo (firmware RAIDiator 4.1.12 [1.00a043]), with 2 hard drives (2 TB each, Configuration: X-RAID (Expandable RAID), 2 disks).
3 days ago I had only 210GB empty space, so I deleted some unnecessary files (around 300GB),
but my windows explorer (in Windows 7) is still showing 210GB empty space only.
When I tried to copy 5GB file to my ReadyNas Duo, the empty space changed to 205GB, but when I deleted this 5 GB file, the empty space remains 205GB.
Is it something wrong with my ReadyNas Duo, or do I need to do something to have more empty space?

Re: ReadyNas Duo - Incorrect amount of free space
How much free space are you seeing in Frontview? Windows explorer is not a good way to check free space on networked drives.
Also, do you have the NAS recycle bin enabled?

Re: ReadyNas Duo - Incorrect amount of free space
Frontview is showing 205GB (same as Windows Explorer).
Recycle Bin - Enabled - 2000MB (I deleted around 300GB...).

Re: ReadyNas Duo - Incorrect amount of free space
Sounds like you should empty the recycle bin then.

Re: ReadyNas Duo - Incorrect amount of free space
Thank you, it is OK now.
I didn't expect to have 300GB in Recycle Bin with max size 2000MB...
