deleting files???

Hi everyone, sorry for a dumb question, but.

When I delete files on my ReadyNAS duo v 2, the folders still show up on my device, when I look at the folders in the device they show as empty. How can I get rid of these folders. I cannot see them in the share on the NAS????

Maybe you have to update the media database?
