Wifi extension to metal buiding
I have a metal shop that I am trying to get internet into. I currently have a Nighthawk 7000 (AC1900) in the house, and a Belken extender in the shop positioned close to the garage door window (approx 180ft from house). Problem is it keeps loosing connection. Would the EX7000 extender with one antenna mounted outside of the shop allow me to get a better signal inside the shop? or is there a better way to get the wifi signal inside the metal building?LM1200-111NAS firmware
Hello, How can I get a firmware update for the LM1200-111NAS? Attempting to check for firmware update via the admin page gives: Update Error There was a problem updating your device. Please try again later. Attempting to install via file with firmware downloaded from the support site, https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/LM1200/LM1200_20.06.09.00_LTE_upgrade_package(US).zip indicates that the firmware is not compatible with the device. ATT says I can connect Desktop to Nighthawk via a ethernet cable. Netgear says no. Who do I believe and why. Here is ATT version: How to connect your device to the internet via Ethernet. Nighthawk M5 5G WiFi 6 Mobile Router (MR5200) working but can't connect to data Your data connection is disconnected. Netgear support and the the provider Vodafone Support say all the settings are good and it should work. But its not working and is becomming a very expensive brick. We dont use it that often but at times we need it. I see alot of other people are having simular problems. I try connecting the Nighthawk router direct to an external erial and if that doesn't work I have to look for something to replace what we have. Is there another mobil router that people recommend that has good support and isn't so expensive.Nighthawk M5 Ethernet port / data offloading
There's so little documentation about this that I don't can't figure out the best way to phrase my question. If you plug the M5 / MR5200 into a wired switch with it's own Internet access, will the M5 act as an access point? If so... What happens if you wire two M5s together? Could one act as the Internet gateway, and the other as an AP?
