I have a metal shop that I am trying to get internet into. I currently have a Nighthawk 7000 (AC1900) in the house, and a Belken extender in the shop positioned close to the garage door window (approx 180ft from house). Problem is it keeps loosing connection. Would the EX7000 extender with one antenna mounted outside of the shop allow me to get a better signal inside the shop? or is there a better way to get the wifi signal inside the metal building?19KViews0likes6CommentsLM1200-111NAS firmware
Hello, How can I get a firmware update for the LM1200-111NAS? Attempting to check for firmware update via the admin page gives: Update Error There was a problem updating your device. Please try again later. Attempting to install via file with firmware downloaded from the support site, https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/LM1200/LM1200_20.06.09.00_LTE_upgrade_package(US).zip indicates that the firmware is not compatible with the device. I’m having a strange compatibility issue with a Netgear MR7400 (M7 Pro)-unlocked hotspot and a Windows laptop with an Intel BE201 Wi-Fi 7 card. The laptop can see the 5 GHz and 6 GHz networks but gets stuck on “connecting” forever, while phones connect instantly at full speed. I reinstalled Windows, updated drivers, and even replaced both the Wi-Fi card and the hotspot — same result. Interestingly, another laptop with an Intel AX211 (Wi-Fi 6E) can connect to the 5 GHz band, so it seems newer Wi-Fi 7 adapters are stricter about the hotspot’s security handshake and refuse to finish connecting. Looking for suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thanks.LM200 Cannot Update Firmware
I recently got an LM200 from Amazon. It connects to LTE and works in bridge and router mode fine. I am trying to update it to the latest FW version to get the WAN failover feature. It isn't able to check for firmware updates online, and when I try to upload the firmware manually, it fails and says "Invalid update file. The package is not supported." Does anyone know why this is happening? I've tried the firmware from https://kb.netgear.com/000064616/LM1200-LTE-Upgrade-Package-Retail-Australia-Europe-and-US and from https://www.netgear.com/support/product/lm1200. (also, there wasn't a LM200 tag but I was forced to pick a tag for this post, sorry if that messes stuff up)
